What do you see? In the pictures, we can see a girl posing for the camera, looking like she's advertising for the product. In the first picture, her hair is all curled and nice, and her pose is also cute and nice. For the second picture, her hair is straight and a little messy. It shows how the product can work with whatever kind of hair.

How is the work organized? The work is organized with the shapes being identifiable. You can spot the model, as well as the product. The image is focused with a lot of depth, and captures the subject of the photo, and it was done intentionally.

What is the artist trying to communicate? The image, which was taken indoors, is light because the strobe was used. The light is coming from the side, and it looks soft on her face.

What do you think of the work? The image successful because it turned out how I'd like it to be. The image also portrays the beautiful lighting through the strobe that I wanted to catch, and made the picture look professional, like an advertisement, which was what I wanted in the first place.

Story Pictures

What do you see?
In the first portrait, I see a  little girl holding a balloon and a little boy leaning on a tree reading a book. The tree is big  and I can also see a large grassland field on the back. On the second picture, I see two hands reaching for the ballon on the bottom string and it is closed up on the balloon and the hands of the two children. On the back of the balloon is the trunk of the tree in which the balloon seems to be resting upon. Then the last picture, I see the little girl holding a weapon, specifically a knife. In the back we can see that the balloon is adrift and the area is in a stranded place.

How is the work organized?
The portraits look wonderful with a lot of contrast in each of them. The mist also creates a gloomy somewhat mysterious feel to the picture. The last two images have a soft focus on the background making the pictures nice and soft. On the last picture on the bottom corners show how the weeds are more in focus and and the background in soft focus and the little girl is in focus.

What is the artist trying to communicate?
What the artist is trying to communicate is that a little girl is just walking with a balloon and the little boy is just leaning on the tree waiting for the moment to get the balloon. Then they end up fighting for the balloon and the last image is based upon ones own opinion of what happened to the story. The images itself are bright except for the last one because it creates a different mood to the story and how it is told. The story can go any way. As mentioned before the images have a lot of contrast on the first two giving somewhat of a happy feel.

What do you think of the work?
I think the pictures turned out how we wanted them to be. The end result of the printed images fit together and works out to how the story can be told.

Portrait with Scrim

What do you see? In the picture, we can see a girl relaxing, enjoying the sun on her face and the cool breeze of the air. She has her eyes closed to portray the comfort that she's feeling, as well as how her arm is placed. We can see leaves around her that are in the same contrast, while the outer area, like the sky, is bright.

Still Life

What do you see? In the picture, we can find candles on a candle-holder with pearls that sort of look like a center piece. There is a mask with feathers in between the candles and a net around it to make it look elegant. On the other side, there is another mask with strings attached to it that looks like the brightest area in the photo.

You can spot the candles and the masks, as well as the pearl, which all contributes to the overall theme of the picture.
